Weekend Journal October 21, 2016

My weekend was awesome because I was busy. I saw pumpkins part of my weekend. I also went to Haunted Aquarium, horseback riding, baseball, and Petco Park.

Friday, Aunt Laurie, cousin David, my Dad, and I went to Haunted Aquarium. The fish didn’t wear a costume. I saw an underwater pumpkin though. Omg, I saw a witch costume, and couple of super heroes which were magnificent! There was also a swamp band which was cool. They played songs like Black Magic Woman. I wore my Harry Potter costume and had fun!

Saturday, I went horseback riding on Hollywood, and then in the afternoon, I went to baseball and I got 2 homeruns! Can you believe it? Wow! I was so happy because 2 homeruns are awesome!

Sunday, I wanted to go on a tour of Petco Park but it was blocked off because the Padres and the Angels team were going to have a game that day.

So, Cece and I walked around the Gaslamp and we ate at Subway. Then we went to Seaport Village to listen to a band that played songs by Chuck Berry, who is 90 years old and has a new album out soon. Chuck Berry did Let’s Twist Again.

My favorite part of the weekend was the Haunted Aquarium because there was cool bioluminescence. I didn’t have a least favorite part. Overall, my weekend was perfect! Next weekend, I will go to the orchestra concert, wear my costume for baseball, and carve my pumpkin.

My Story of My Life October 19, 2016

Hi,  I am Casey Latz and I was born in San Diego on October 19, 1995. I was so cute.

I cried a lot, and my mom and dad met me. I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and I got a g tube. I have two older brothers Eric and Matthew. My first memorable event was when I  was 2 years old. I learned to play piano and at first I couldn’t make one sound on the keys

Around 6,  I went to Ashley Falls school. My friends were Troy, Helen, and Natalie. I had ESY with Ms. Carpenter. Then I graduated kindergarten and moved into middle school at CVMS. They were so nice to me. Linda was my aide, and I met some more kids like Lena and Zoe, and we had fun. We did tournaments in PE. I also started playing drums at 10 and joined the jazz band.

Then I graduated middle school and went to high school at Torrey PInes High School and Canyon Crest Academy.  I started drums and I liked it. Then in 2013, my mom died. It was sad for me. Some things I like to do are Friendship Circle, horseback riding, Legoland, Miracle League, and I love to go in the spa in my backyard.

In 2014, I graduated high school and moved on to ATP with some awesome kids. Now I  continue to go to Bonnie and Tessa for tutoring.  Five years from now I see myself going to a program after ATP which deals with job training. Also, drinking wine is a goal. Since I am now 21, I am really a true adult.

Exciting Weekend of October 14, 2016

My weekend was super exciting because it was my birthday weekend. I went to Marshalls, Staples,  horseback riding, baseball, went bowling, and ate at Souplantation.

Friday I went to Marshalls, and omg, I didn’t want to buy anything because one shirt was too small for me. So we went to Staples because Arlie wanted pens. So we did that.

On Saturday, I went horseback riding, and it was SO FUN because they said happy birthday to me. Even at baseball, all the people sang to me and it was so sweet. I played badly the first time. I was shy because I didn’t want the coaches to know it’s my birthday and then it would be a disaster. Well I didn’t want to think that, but I did. For the second hit, I did great.

Sunday, for my birthday celebration my grandma, Matthew, Anne-Marie, uncle Steven, uncle Robert, my cousin Alison and her husband Trevor, Lisa and Rick, and my Dad and I went bowling at Mira Mesa bowling alley. It was fun!

My dad got 3 strikes, or a turkey. Matthew also got a turkey. Matthew did great! Cece got a strike and I got a strike too! When it was time for cake, I blew out my candles myself. It was a piano cake and I loved it so much!

I loved one card that said, “Here’s fishin’ you…a whale of a good time on your birthday!”, love moma moma Grandma Rhoda.

I got some new sparkly drumsticks too [from my uncles].

For dinner, I went to Souplantation, which is my favorite because of the food all you can eat; soups, salads, pizza, and my favorite, ice cream! Yum! Even though I can’t chow   down food, I love how you get food yourself. Help yourself!

My favorite part of the weekend was bowling because it was caketastic!

I didn’t have a least favorite. Overall, my weekend was super duper great!  This coming weekend, I will first go to the Haunted Aquarium. Then next weekend is Halloween.

Weekend of October 7, 2016

My weekend was Halloween great because it was a spooky weekend. I had baseball, got a tie for my costume, went to Brick or Treat at Legoland, went to the Pumpkin Station, and drove to UTC.

Friday, I went to the Halloween store in Solana Beach to look for a Harry Potter tie but it was sold out. Instead after school I went to Party City and the store had spooky stuff and my tie. I was happy!

Saturday, I didn’t have riding, but I did have baseball and my buddy was Tawney. My base running was awesome!  Around 4:00 pm my nurse Cece came and she got me ready in my Harry Potter costume because we went to Legoland for Brick or Treat; I haven’t been before so I wanted to try it. So cool! There was a band called the Boo Gras instead of bluegrass band. Get it? Bluegrass is a famous western/country style played by a band from the south. That was my favorite part of it and it was so much fun because it was like a fall festival! I also got candy and a brick.

Sunday, Cece and I went to the Pumpkin Station, like a pumpkin patch. It was so amazing because there were so many animals to pet. We got a tiny pumpkin. Aw! At UTC, we listened to the blues. It was so great because the music was lively.

My favorite part of the weekend was both Legoland and the Pumpkin Patch because they were both the best! My least favorite part was that it was too hot! Overall, I had a fantastic weekend! Next weekend I will go bowling for my birthday weekend. I also want to get a piano cake or get wrapping for my gifts to give to my guests for my birthday because it will be so exciting!

Weekend of September 30, 2016

My weekend was really nice because I was busy. I went horseback riding, played baseball, went to Legoland, and attended church for the Jewish New Year.

Saturday, Sally, my nurse came because my dad went to a convention for my transition. So we drove to the place for my horseback riding lesson. I rode from 9:00 to 9:30 and then I rushed back home and got ready for baseball. Omg, I got an another home run, wow!!!

Sunday, I went to Legoland and there were so many Halloween decorations around Legoland. I am going to be Harry Potter at Legoland. The name of this Halloween party is Brick or Treat instead of trick or treat. Ha! I am so excited. Not only did I go to Legoland but I also went to church for Rosh Hashanah. Omg I loved it because the music was enjoyable. I went with my cousin Alison, Trevor her husband, my aunt Laurie, my grandma, and my Dad. I was so tired after that that when I slept at home I dreamt of a monster at church running after me.
My least favorite part and my favorite part was both church, because not only was it awesome, but after that I was so tired. Overall, my weekend was perfect! Next weekend, I will go to Legoland again and I also want to go to a park or Fletcher Cove beach because it will be amazing.
