Weekend of September 25, 2015

My weekend was so awesome! It was filled with busy things like going to Fletcher Cove, seeing my dance teacher Miss Sarah for the last time, going horseback riding, playing baseball, going to the Zoo, seeing the worst football game ever, and seeing the BLOOD MOON in the sky.

On Friday, I went to Fletcher Cove, and  in front of this rail there was a pretty view of the beach. In the middle of this rail there were these rubber bands and I plucked them like a harp. It didn’t make a sound like pluck boing… anyways after that, the kids saw a movie called Wreck It Ralph. It was so funny. At night at home Miss Sarah, and her son Mason came over because she is moving to a place called Thousand Oaks. I kept asking “Do you want to do one dance for me, please?” She siad “no”, I then said, “You have to let me see one dance please?” She said, “No, because I will move away and I don’t feel like dancing right now.” I thought “ok fine, whatever you say.”

Saturday, I had horseback riding and I practiced my routine for the horseshow on October 10. After that, I rushed home and got ready for baseball and I hit well. [With buddy Ellie.]

Sunday, I went to the ZOO. I was over at the front stage because Campfire Dave was singing to folks just like me and there was a rare animal and it was a mane wolf named Montana who howled! One of the rarest things you might not know is that Montana was born in a home close to L.A. Then when we went home, I played Wii Sports and for bowling I did so well. Why? Because I got 4 strikes. My dad was so proud of me. Aww!

After practicing music, I first watched Mario Bros on YouTube, and then I watched Legend of Zelda Oceania of Time. Soon OMG, the football game was recorded and was it good? Nope, the Chargers lost again. After I got ready for bed, I went out to the front street to see the Blood Moon and it was so weird but cool.

My favorite part of the weekend was the zoo and seeing the eclipse because it was so neat. My least favorite was when the stinky Chargers lost because now you know why I called them stinky. Overall, my weekend in San Diego was not great but it was ok. Next weekend I want to either have a haircut or have my nails done. I want to do one of these things because it will be awesome!

September 18, 2015

My weekend was amazing.

On Friday, after ATP, I came home and OMG I saw the finale of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and this Ventriloquist won 1 million dollars and a headline show in Las Vegas on October 23, 24, and 25. Wow!

Saturday, I went horseback riding bareback. It was weird because I was not in a saddle. Then I came home, practiced my music, had lunch, and went to my first baseball game of the season. OMG, my dad was my buddy. [Here she is with Coach Jeff.]

Sunday, Cece and I went to Mira Mesa bowl to go bowling and I won, 113 to 99. Wow! It worked out great! Then we stopped for lunch. Next, I went to the spa and it was so nice. Ah!!

After that, I ate my snack, playing my ocean game and suddenly I had a headache. I didn’t feel good.

My favorite part of the weekend was bowling because it was so fun. My least favorite part was when I had a headache because it was awful! Overall, my weekend was ok. Next weekend I want to go to Hawaii, or go to Legoland. I want to do one of these things because it will be great!

Weekend of July 24, 2015

[Note: this post was embargoed since the summer because of the amazing news it contains]

My week/weekend was awesome. It consisted of going to Bonnie, Seaport Village, Belmont Park, PT, Jazz band, UTC, LEGOLAND, the Zoo, Coronado, and Camp Simcha. During the weekend, it consisted of going horseback riding, going to ACE hardware, seeing grandma Rhoda and Uncle Robert twice, getting my toes polished, going to LEGOLAND, and going to Matthew’s and Anne-Marie’s house for dinner.

I went to Bonnie and I edited my journal. I also went to SEAPORT Village and I walked around; it was fun because I like the scenery with the harbor and the ships. During the summer, they have a guy singing old songs like Barry Manilow or Frank Sinatra.

On Saturday, I went horseback riding on Mark, the award-winning horse. Then, we drove over to the Ace Hardware store because both my dad’s and my blinds broke. So a guy measured it and he will fix it. Then I practiced my drums and ate lunch. After, we went to grandma’s house because I practiced my piano piece, and grandma helped me. This piece I am working on is from part of the third movement of a symphony called the Pastoral Symphony by Beethoven, with the countryside and the fields. This piece is about how kids are having fun in a camp and it CAN be really exciting. Because of this,

  1. You can enjoy learning this piece, and you feel like it is inspiring.
  2. You won’t find it inspiring.
  3. Or, you think that maybe the piece is too much stuff to think about really.

  1. I went to Disneyland, and I went on rides. Then, I saw the parade. I had fun.
  2. I went to LEGOLAND, and I saw a 4d movie about Chima. Amazing!
  3. We went shopping and bought a nice dress for our summer beach party. Great!

The first answer is “A” and the second, drum roll please… the answer is not a, or c, it’s crash… “B”. Legoland was so fun. Afterwards, I went home and my dad showed me a sneak peak of Honey 2. These street dancers were awesome.

Then, I went to Anne-Marie and Matthew’s house and I saw Matthew cook. He made bbq salmon, noodles, and bbq hamburger. Yum! Then we went upstairs and Matthew was showing me how he kills bugs with a squirt gun of course. Then Anne-Marie told us,

  1. That she will have a baby on February 7, my mom’s birthday.
  2. She will have twins
  3. Maybe she has a joke to tell

It is “A”, right. So, I will be an aunt for the very first time, and Dad will be a Grandpa also for the first time in Smith Canyon’s history. Dad should put the news in the newspaper. Then during my dinner, I was screaming because my tummy bothered me a lot. My dad rubbed it and said, “It’s ok, I’m here.”

Then I got so tired that in the car, my dad said, “Hey, you know you won’t go to jazz band if you act like that.” I am like “what!”

My favorite part of the weekend/week was when I had the dinner where I found out Anne-Marie will have a baby girl. My least favorite part was nothing because besides that tiredness, I had a wonderful zippydadoodah weekend! Overall, my weekend was so fantastic! Next weekend/week, I will have a breath test. I want to also either get a baby gift for Anne-Marie or go to the tide pools. I want to do one of these things because it will be awesome and great at the same time!

Weekend of September 11, 2015

My weekend was swell! It was filled with awesome things like having a barn lesson, having my opening ceremony for baseball, going to the zoo, and having a family dinner.

On Saturday, I had a barn lesson and I did a scavenger hunt. It was so cool!

Then my dad and I drove to Miracle League for my baseball opening ceremony and it was so hot.

Sunday, Elizabeth and I went to the zoo to see the baby gorilla.

We also went to see the pandas, and the hippos. After, we went on the carousel. When I went home, I saw football and the Chargers won. Soon my guests came for a Rosh Hashanah family dinner.

My favorite part of the weekend was the zoo because the baby gorilla was so cute on the mom’s back.

I didn’t have a least favorite part. Overall, my weekend was so fun! Next weekend, I want to either go to La Jolla beach or practice my new jazz band music. I want to do one of these things because it will be so fantastic!

Labor Day Weekend of September 4, 2015

My Labor Day weekend was super!!! Some of what I did was go to Flower Hill Mall, horseback riding, see my friend Jaydon, go to the Natural History Museum, and go to LEGOLAND.

On Friday, I went to Flower Hill Mall with my ATP groups. Good thing I was not with Cassidy because she is so loud! We ate at a Mexican restaurant and at an ice cream cafe.

Saturday, I went horseback riding and my riding teacher ran in a race near Disneyland, but not California Adventure. I had trouble riding with my leg on Mark because of my bad, sore leg.

Then, I practiced piano and drums. During lunch, I decided to see my old Hoofer Club dance DVD, but some parts of it were stuck. Then at 1:30 pm, Jaydon, my friend, came and he played a piano piece called Gymnopedie by Erik Satie; it’s a pretty, calm song. Soon I played the Rite of Spring and a Night on Bald Mountain. After that, we played Mario Party 8 on the Wii. Soon, Vincentta, my nurse, came and it was her last night because now she is moving to Georgia. I will miss her a lot!

Sunday, Cece and I went to the Natural History Museum. We first saw the movie Walking with Dinosaurs 3d. It was cool!!!!!!!!!!!! After, we went to the Mayan special exhibit and OMG, it was about the pyramids and temples in South America. It was awesome! Then it was time for Ms. Frizzle, which was about spiders.

Monday, I went to LEGOLAND and saw the Lego friends and the fire show starring Vern and the head chief. I also went to the aquarium.

My favorite part of my weekend was LEGOLAND because I also went on the Coasterosaurus rollercoaster and after a round of the ride, I said to the ride operator, “one more time, one more time…” I didn’t have a least favorite part. Overall, my weekend was great! Next weekend I want to either play Mario Party 8 again or chill out at the Del Mar or the Oceanside beach. I want to do one of these things because it will be awesome!

Weekend of August 28, 2015

My weekend was awesome. It was filled with grand activities like going to the ocean, horseback riding, celebrating my dad’s birthday, and going to the Museum of Making Music.

On Friday, I walked over to the breeze bus and it went to the Fletcher Cove near the train station. It was so beautiful.

Saturday and Sunday however, was a typical normal weekend, but with one special thing. My dad’s birthday was in fact awesome because he’s 61 years old. Wow!

And to add to the festivities, on Saturday I went swimming in our spa with him.

Before that, I watched a DVD musical that was in NYC which my dad saw when he was there. It was called Pippin and was about this prince named Pippin who met a girl named Catherine. Anyway, on Sunday I went to the Museum of Making Music and then went walking on the beach across from the power plant construction area. It was so hot there that I only walked a total of 20 minutes; I walked down for 10 min and back for 10 more minutes. Then I had a family dinner [with carrot cake!] with Matthew, Anne Marie, grandma, my uncle Robert, and Lisa and Rick.

My favorite part of the weekend was when I watched Lawrence Welk because the theme was Hawaii and I was at the beach 2 times. My least favorite part was nothing because I enjoyed it! Next weekend is Labor Day so I want to either go to Oceanside Pier or to the beach. I want to do one of these things because it will be swell!

My Trip to Seattle August 19, 2015

My trip to Seattle was fun! We took a plane to Seattle with Mary and while we were there, we took a train, which I loved so much , and a ferry to Bainbridge Island to see Jim, Sybil, and Maribeth which was awesome!

We also went on a giant Ferris wheel and the carousel with Cousin Rich. Omg, I knew the songs they had at the carousel. It was so exciting like fireworks.

Also, we went to the aquarium and we saw salmon, a giant octopus, and a diver which was so cool.

Then we saw Kyle and Mandy’s new 5 day old baby named Emmett. He was so cute, aww!

We also went to Pike Street Market and saw a piano player who was amazing!

Saturday was the memorial for Carole’s husband, Alex. Mary and I went on a walk and it was at a golf resort.

My favorite part of the trip was going on the carousel because it was next to the ferry and the ferris wheel in a restaurant.

My least favorite was when I went home because I had a very, very, very, really, very, great trip! Overall, my trip was awesome! Next trip, I want to go to New York to visit my brother Eric or to Connecticut to visit Camp Awosting, my dad’s old camp. I want to do one of these things because it will be fun!
