Weekend of August 14, 2015

My weekend was filled with packed events like having my last day of 2 camps, going horseback riding, finishing my ocean game, and going on the ferry to Coronado.

On Friday, it was my last day of 2 camps. At the first camp, Jaydon showed up during lunchtime. He was in Costa Rica. I was like, “Hi Jaydon.” I asked him, “Can you hang out with me tomorrow? I will be away on Wednesday for Seattle.” He said, “Sorry Casey but I have to do homework.” Then I was like, “If you do your homework tonight, you can come tomorrow.” “Tonight? I can’t finish it tonight!” he responded. Next, I facetimed my dad at camp and after that I saw Jaydon braiding challah. Then, I decided to go play piano while everyone went on the water slide. Jaydon and I played a Boogie Woogie song and then we messed around on the piano. Then I went outside and there was a big water slide. I decided to go up it, but there was so much water so I didn’t go up it. Then, we went to our last camp at the park in Solana Beach. The theme was about being grateful to god. There was a skit about how this kid wanted to borrow a car from other kids, and the other campers sang a song from the classic movie, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It was so funny.

Saturday, I went horseback riding and then, Craig showed up and after I rode, I chit chatted with him. Then when we were home my dad texted Jaydon, but he wasn’t available. So what I did was I played piano and my dad got out his clarinet and we played “Frere Jacques” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It” and then I played drums. After lunch, I played my ocean game and my dad helped me. There was a maze and it was so hard because I had to find the statues before you run out of air. One said this is an ancient symbol about worshipping the sun and I played the dragon flute and you can hear the song of dragons. And then we were stuck.

Sunday, Elizabeth and I went on the ferryboat and I saw so many buildings. When we landed on Coronado, we walked around and I didn’t go in the shops, but luckily I ate on the ferry back. I was trying to spell month on my fingers because she asked me what lesson I learned. I signed, m o n t h and while I spelled it the walker fell and I was gasping, what what! When we were back I wanted to read what was on the wall. Then we went home and I asked my dad if Hunter and Paul are coming, he said nope! So at 3, I tried to work out my game and turns out, there is this temple and these sharks were sooooooooooooooo scary that I used this tool called the Pulsar to calm them down and we were uncertain of the treasure but we saw 4 hints. So then this gate opened and we found the Pacifica treasure. But, we only had 10 minutes to escape the temple before it was destroyed so we had trouble because the current was so strong. I looked up a faq cheat and it said to go down past Oceania and touch the glowing part. So when we did this, the whale kept pushing the statue and then we were back on the boat. It was the end. It took us almost 3 and a half hours to finish the story. Pheewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

My favorite part of the weekend was when we finished the game because it was like yahoo!!!!! However, my least favorite part was there was no Lawrence Welk and that the sharks was scary because both parts were disappointing. Overall, my weekend was oceanistic great! This Wednesday I will go to Seattle for the weekend for Carole’s husband’s celebration of his death. It will be sad. There, I want to either go to a Disneyland if they have one, or go to a theme park if they have one. I want to do one of these awesome things because it will be swell!

Weekend of August 7, 2015

My weekend was magnificent! It was filled with busy activities like going to the zoo, Camp Simcha, my jazz band concert, going horseback riding, going to Souplantation, shopping for my new shorts and pants, going swimming in my spa, going on the coaster to Seaport Village, and seeing my family.

On Friday, I went to the zoo and there was a German Shepard named DUKE on this front stage and I loved him. He was so huge!

So, we went down Monkey Trails after that, and Arlie and I saw some monkeys, some wallabies, and some birds. After that, we went on the carousel and I rode a dog that was so cute because it has spots on its legs and I held onto the pole on top of his mane! Next, I went to camp Simcha and finally, I had my jazz band concert [you can view the concert by clicking this link on YouTube]. I couldn’t believe it, Scott played piano with our band and the combo’s band. It sounded incredible! After the concert, Luke’s sister, who was in my ASL class last year, signed to me.

Saturday, in my new Wii ocean game, I found the temple where the treasure might be hidden. I couldn’t believe it! So then, I went horseback riding, and for lunch, Aunt Laurie, David, grandma, Uncle Robert, my dad, and I went to my favorite restaurant, Souplantation. After lunch I went shopping with Aunt Laurie.

We went to University Town Center and first, we went to Macy’s but they didn’t have good shorts. So then we went to Justice and bought some Capri shorts which are really cute. When we were done, we went home and while I ate my snack, I played my piano and Vincetta came and she loved my playing. Lastly, I just went in my spa, and it was 96 degrees. So nice!

Sunday, I woke up early because Cece and I drove to the train station and when I was on the coaster, I thought, “Wow! So fun! Ooh look at that beautiful ocean, this is pretty.” We went to downtown San Diego to see the kissing statue with a recording of Bob Hope, the comedian. We also saw the [ship] Star of India. Then, we went to Seaport Village to ride the Carousel as usual. Then we went back on the Coaster to go home. After, I went on the treadmill while watching Jessie, which is a teen show on Disney channel. Later, while my dad and I watched Phantom of the Opera, some of my dinner guests came like Matthew, Anne-Marie, Carla, Lisa, Rick, Tracey, John, grandma, and Robert.

My favorite part of the weekend was the coaster because it was amazing! I also loved my concert! My least favorite part was nothing because it was all entertaining. Overall, my weekend was so pleasurable. Next weekend, all I want to do is have some fun packing for my trip or get another bag for my gadgets and I want to do one of these things because it will be the best summer weekend ever!

Weekend of July 31, 2015

My weekend was awesome. It was filled with great things like going to Belmont Park, going to Camp Simcha, jazz band, staying home, and going to the Natural History Museum.

On Friday, I went to Belmont Park and I went into this big arcade and one game was called Piano keys. I loved it. Also I wanted to go on this wooden rollercoaster like at Knotts Berry Farm but it looked scary for Arlie and me. Anyways, then I went on the carousel and so it was like Yahoo!

Next I went to Camp Simcha and the theme was tilulum or making the world a better place. Doesn’t worry be happy! After that I went to jazz band. But, there was no combo because Scott went to play at a wedding. So I was disappointed because the combo kids didn’t have practice for the concert this Friday. Oh no now what could they do?

Saturday I had no horseback riding lesson, so I decided to sleep in late. Then I woke up, got dressed, got ready for exercise, and then I practiced piano and drums. Also, I played my new ocean Wii game and I just found a clue for the treasure. I need to go back to the cave to find the map that belongs to a dragon’s flute like a sea whistle. That flute will hopefully open the gates and find the hidden treasure. Isn’t that cool?

Sunday, I slept late and after I got ready, Elizabeth and I went to the Natural History Museum and we went to this exhibit and there were so many animals like an artic fox, tree frogs, sea pigs, etc. After that we went to Ms. Frizzle and the topic was about decomposers. And what was weird was on the Ms. Frizzle Imaginary bus ride, the bus shrunk down into a bowl and they made bread. So they put flour, water and yeast in the bowl When they were done mixing it up and had put it in a pan, the bus didn’t want to be in the oven, so instead the bus took them back to the museum. Then we went on the carousel and lastly we went home.

My favorite part of the weekend was the Natural History Museum because it was incredible. My least favorite part was when Scott didn’t show up for the combo. Overall, my weekend was entertaining. Next weekend, I want to either go to the beach or get some supplies for Camp Let Lose. I want to do one of these things because it will be so exciting!
