Weekend of November 14, 2014

My weekend was so exciting. It was filled with awesome things like going horseback riding, having my last baseball game, seeing Savi, going to JCC, and watching football.
On Friday, I went horseback riding and it was fun.
On Saturday, I went horseback riding again and when I came home, my friend Savi came over and we had a good time. We danced to a song, Girls just wanta have fun by Cyndi Lauper. Then I had my last baseball game and I got a trophy. Ooh!!!!
On Sunday, Elizabeth came and we drove to  the Jewish Community Center  because there was a book fair. They had a lot of famous books by jewish authors. Speaking of that, the lady had a new story to read to us called ¨I know an old lady who swallowed a drayel.¨ It was so cute. Aww!!!! Then there were two groups of kids from j company who performed songs for us. Soon, Craig Parks performed live in concert. It was awesome because they did the horah; a fun Jewish circle dance for weddings and bat/bar mitzvah parties. I went back home and saw awesome football. The chargers got 1 touchdown and missed a field goal but they won!!!!
My favorite part of the weekend was  the jcc concert  because Craig was a superstar in a good way not in an ok way. My least favorite part was nothing because I really had a good time over the weekend. Overall, my weekend was fantastic. Next weekend I want to either go to Legoland, or go to Boomers. I also want to either go to Seaport village, museum of Natural History, or the zoo. I want to do one of these things because it will be super fun.

Weekend of November 7, 2014

My weekend was so so great! It was filled with great things like going on an airplane, staying in a townhouse, going to a Bat Mitzvah and going to Washington.
On Friday, Mary my nurse came and Rick, who also came, dropped my dad, me, Mary, grandma, and Robert off at the airport. Then, my grandma and Robert were lost. It turned out they were at the security line. We waited and waited a long time because there was no one there to help us get through security. Finally we were on our way to Washington DC. yay! It was 4 hours I thought, “woah, thats long.” I was so bored. When we arrived, we rode on a train to the baggage claim, and a bus to the rental car place. It took us forever to pick a car, drive to the townhouse and go to my cousins Savanna, Scarlet and Sam’s house for dinner.  At their house, I toured downstairs and Savanna had an awesome basement. She had some Wii games, guitar, bass, and cello. Savanna always says, “Hi, Casey, and I love you Scarlett.”
Saturday, we went to see Aunt Yvette and saw Aunt Marilyn’s new apartment. Then we went to a restaurant and I forgot the name, but it was so fun because I saw my brother, Eric, and my sister in law, Alex. They gave me a cute card with a camera, blinking. Then, when we were in temple for Savanna’s bat mitzvah, I covered my ears I was so scared that I almost went to sleep. But when everyone needed to follow Savanna into the next room, I didn’t want to go but when I finally went in, there was music and a dj. I thought and said to my dad, “I was right! it IS a party.” So I played some of their games and I won all of them. There was a helper who helped the kids so I wasn’t scared. Also, Scarlett made a speech and one part of the speech was really funny. It was when Scarlett told a story about how Savanna was at Disney World and she asked Scarlet,”Where are my shoes? I dont have them.“ Later, Scarlett said, ”mom has them.” The party ended at 9pm.
Sunday, around 9 to 9:30 Mary, my dad and I drove to a different hotel for brunch and I saw Jay and I was so glad to see him. Savanna was glad too. After that, Jay, his friend Lorie, Mary, my dad, and I drove to Washington DC and I was amazed. We went to the Air and Space Museum, the Smithsonian Castle, and they had a carousel like Balboa Park and I went on it. Then we walked over to the Natural History Museum and I  loved that museum. Next, we walked back to the van and drove back to the townhouse in Virginia and got ready, because we then went back to my cousin’s house for dinner and only  Sam and Savanna were there. Scarlett went back to Virginia Tech College.
Monday, we waited til 10 because we first went to Subway because I won a gift card from the game, musical scavenger hunt at the party Saturday night. It was like musical chairs. Anyways, we bought a sandwich. Then, we drove to this other museum which was my favorite museum because they had airplanes and space so it was another Air and Space museum. We took a guided tour and one plane looked like a shark. After that, we had lunch and we drove to the bus because we dropped off the Avis car. So the bus took us to the airport. Cool! Then we had trouble finding Southwest line to check in and get our tickets. After finding it, we went through security and took a train to C gates and I thought, “hmm gate C64 is where?” My dad misspoke it was B64 not C. I thought…”ohhhhhhhhhhhh it’s B not C.” So again we went back on the train and took 2 trains and 3 elevators. Finally, we were at B64 and grandma and Robert were there so my dad, Mary and I split up and my dad bought a smoothie and a sandwich. The plane ride this time was 5 hour 41 minutes, “too long” I thought…
Tuesday was fun cause we went to Balboa park and the friendship circle had not arrived yet so I thought either it  was on Sunday, or it was at 1:30. It was at 1:30 so finally they were here and I asked my buddy Id and Nathan, “Will Jaydon come?” Arlie said, “No.” I was so disappointed. “No Jaydon” I thought. Oh man. So Id, Nathan and Eddie and I went over to the grassy area to play parachute with the group. Then we explored a lot and we rode the tram all over the USS midway museum, past the science center, and back in the El Prado area. We listened to a guitar, a banjo, and a fiddle player.  The duo sang “She’ll be coming around the mountain when she comes.” We also saw a statue who was so funny. In fact, he waved at me; it was hilarious. Then we walked back to the organ pavilion, but I didn’t talk to my buddy because I was SHY!!
My favorite part was when I was at the party because the games were super fun. My least favorite part was the airport because wrong gate number! Overall, my weekend was so fun. Next weekend, I will go to a concert in JCC. I also want to either go to the zoo, or go to the park. I want to do one of these things because it will be super exciting!!!!!

Spooky weekend of October 31, 2014

My weekend was so great! It was filled with great things like getting my tires fixed, going trick or treating, going to the horse barn, to baseball, watching a movie, and going to see Peter Pan.
On Friday, it was Halloween so we went to have my tires fixed and some kids were trick or treating around the stores. Kids came to the tire place to get candy and it was fun. Later, I came home and there was no time for piano or drums because I ate while watching a movie called Mt. Carmel tournament of bands, which my nurse Mary brought. Then, I got  into my costume and Skyler and Tracey,  his 2 nurses and his stepdad also came. While we started trick or treating around 6:30, his stepdad stayed home and waited for kids to get candy. So we went around my neighborhood and we went across the street and got a lot of candy; I  got around 76 pieces of candy. Oh what was so funny was when I went to David’s house, I saw a piano in his house so I got candy, but, Michael the boy played piano for me. You would think,”what, you can’t go in peoples house!” It was just because I didn’t know that he played piano too like me. It was a special treat.
Saturday, it was too muddy to ride so I instead took care of Mark in the barn.  I brushed him with the curly comb. Then I also went trick or treating because I gave carrots to all of the little and big horses. Next, I went to baseball and I was awesome, because I played great!! Next, I went home and had lunch.  Then, l did thank you emails for my birthday on the 19th of last month. I said, “thank you from Casey,
Dear __,  thank you for my gift, and for coming to my party, I enjoyed having  you there. From, Casey.”
Sunday, Delanee and I first exercised, then we saw a cute movie for a late Halloween classic called Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. It’s about a boy named Harry Potter who gets a letter from Hedwig inviting him to the Hogwarts School of Magic and the school is like a sleepaway camp or school. So I ate my lunch around 11:30 because at 12:30…ding, we were on our way to JCC to see their version of that popular Disney classic, Peter Pan.
My favorite part of the weekend was seeing Peter Pan because it was so exciting to see all the pirates, even Wendy. I also liked Halloween because it was so fun too. My least favorite was not being able to go riding because it was too muddy to ride. Overall, my weekend was awesome! Next weekend I will go to a bat Mitzvah of Savanna, my  second cousin in Washington DC.
Happy Halloween!

Weekend of October 24, 2014

My weekend was so fun. It was filled with great things like going to the Haunted Aquarium, seeing my aunt and cousin, and going horseback riding.
On Friday, I did some errands, then I got in my costume because my aunt, cousin, grandma, dad, and I all drove to the aquarium because it was called The Haunted Aquarium. Each halloween guest got a bag before you enter the aquarium, because then people can give you things to go in your bag. There was also Billy Lee and the Swamp Critters band, with an accordion, wash bowl, fiddle, two guitars, and a drumset. Plus, there were cool games like one game you spin a wheel and the color needs to match the prize. My favorite part of it was in the classroom, one was dark and there were different stations for bioluminescence and one station that my dad created was when the kids grabbed any piece of animal like a shark and throw it in this water, and you see it glow and shake down.
Saturday, I went horseback riding, then when I came home my cousin and aunt played a game that was fun. You pick 21 tiles and instead of making a word and wait for your next turn you keep making words like a crossword puzzle. I played too. Then we went to Souplantation and it was so enjoyable. After that, I went to baseball in my costume, and it was also celebrity pitcher day so the pitcher and the catcher both wore a turtle costume and my buddy was a vampire.
Sunday, my aunt, cousin, Mary Jane my nurse, my dad, and I went to this animal shelter called Humane Society in Encinitas  and Sid, my dads cousin [friend], read his new children’s book about this cute dog named Danny. The book is called, Danny Dog.  Also, people got the chance to buy the book. If you have read it I love it, if not tomorrow I can bring it. After that we walked over to see the homeless animals and one dog was named Grandpa and it was an arrival pet. There were also cats but I didn’t go in there. There were rabbits, and a sign near the end of the rabbits area  said, ¨this way to doggy playground¨ so my dad explained what a doggy playground was to me. Then, Mary Jane and I went to the Making Music Museum and she loved it because she loves music. I saw some girl scouts and they were hanging out in the store right when you walk through the door to your right. I also saw this mini xylophone and so I played it, then I walked through the gallery 2 times. There was one area where they have samples of music and under vocals one song was a tisket a tasket. I tried their Clavinova keyboard and I loved it. I tried to play a bach song. I then went home and at 5:30 David, Aunt Lorie and my family came for dinner.
My favorite part of the weekend was the Haunted Aquarium because it was the most fun. My least favorite part was nothing because it was so fantastic. Overall, my weekend was so fabulous!!! Next weekend, I will go trick or treating on Halloween. I also will go to see the Peter Pan show at JCC. Next week, I will go to Washington DC for a bat mitzvah of Savannah, my cousin. I also want to either have my dad eat pumpkin pie or buy a new game. I want to do one of these things because it will be great!
It’s time for the Haunted Aquarium. Check out my costume!
