[No weekend journal as Casey is on holiday break from school, but she wrote this message to me today.]
My day was so busy but boy was it fun
The [model] Railroad museum was so fun. I saw many trains even the smallest train you can think of. And once we got out of the museum there’s a couple things we saw and did. And at almost every area, we donated money.
1. There was a keyboard player that was playing classical music near the middle alley of the park near the plant area. And guess what, I played a little on her keyboard.
2. There was a balloon man and I wanted a piano but he couldn’t make one. He instead made a cute horse, but the bad thing was  we were siting down when I grabbed my balloon and I stepped on it and [nurse] Cindy threw it away.
3. There was a cello player.
4.  There was a magic show.
Oh I forgot…
5. We went to the fountain.
Also there was a man who was making sounds on a long tube and funny to say it was so unusual, I saw it before once.
The bad things were
1.  I didn’t go on the carousel though.
And dad yes I didn’t get scared.
One more thing,
I glad I went and you would really enjoy seeing the railroad muesum because we love trains, woo choo, I think I can etc. remember the little engine that could.

Weekend of December 16, 2013

12-16-13

Weekend Journal

My weekend was fun. It started on Friday 12-13-13 and was filled with fun activities. Some of the things I did were see Bonnie, go horseback riding, play Wii and go bowling.

Friday, I saw Bonnie and we read Dear Rosita. I felt happy.

Saturday, I went horseback riding on Scout. It was nice and I felt glad that I rode him. Then I went home and I played piano and drums. After that, I saw my Leonard Bernstein movie while I ate lunch which made me feel happy again. Next, we finished my thank you emails from my birthday. Then I played Wii baseball and bowling.

On Sunday, I woke up at 7 got ready and Cindy, my new nurse, came and of course Elizabeth came too. Ha!  I felt fantastic my dear to see her! So we exercised, ate, played piano, read Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, and got ready to go bowing with the friendship circle in Poway. When we got to the bowling arena, I first meet with my group and started to bowl. After I bowled, I was thinking Where is Jaydon? So Elisheva said he was not signed up for it.  I was bummed. (Gasp, oh no!) Meanwhile, I met a new friend, a kind boy named Zack and he was so cute. He helped me bowl. I felt excited because I had fun.

My favorite part of the weekend was bowling because it was really cool. My least favorite part was nothing because it was all fun. Overall, my weekend was so exciting. Next weekend I will go to the Nutcracker. I also want to either go to SeaWorld or the zoo over the break.  I want to do one of these things because it will be great!

Weekend Journal

My weekend was fun because I did some amazing things like see Bonnie, watch The Sound of Music Live with Carrie Underwood, go horseback riding, go   to the zoo, see the Croods, and go see The Little Mermaid.

Friday, I saw Bonnie [tutor]. I haven’t seen her in a while and I felt lonesome but when I saw her, I felt welcomed. We talked about Latin prefixes.  After that, I went home.

On Saturday, I went horseback riding on my horse named Mark which was so cute. I feel unsteady at  one point.  We went out for a little tiny trail ride to the barn. After my riding lesson, I fed my horse before it was time to go home. When my dad and I got home, I practiced my piano and drums. Next, I ate lunch (because I was hungry.) Then, I put the TV on and watched the Sound of Music and I started to realize that the nuns were even cuter than in the original film with Julie Andrews. Carrie Underwood, (As Maria,) was so talented and I heard the song, you are 16 going on 17. I loved it a lot but what was weird is that usually my favorite things are sung at the bed, but in the bedroom scene, the kids had to sing the Lonely goat herd song to stop the storm from coming instead of the puppet show in the old version. After the movie, I played Wheel of Fortune before my nurse Mary and a new nurse came who does not play piano. Her name I think was Pearl [Cindy!], so we hung out till we got ready to put on my pjs. After I rested, I saw the Lawrence Welk show which was about different people in the show, how they liked being on the show and enjoyed it.  After an hour you can pledge the show so say u need a disk for 120 you have to pledge a dollar or 2 amounts. I felt like I had values in me. Sunday, Chris my nurse came, (not my drum teacher Chris he he no!) so I exercised and got ready to go to the zoo. At the zoo, there was the Camp Critter show.  I felt cuddly. One part I liked was where the director said, and now coming in just 200 pounds Ahceatha the timber wolf.”After the show, I got settled in the area where the flamingos are because I had lunch, and then I wanted to go to hippo trail that winding trail towards the apes, and the monkeys. I tried to feel brave.  Then I went deeper and deeper into the Tiger trail, and we were almost lost but luckily, I found this elevator and when we were out of the elevator, there were no animals, so we went up the elevator again. After all that chaos, we went to the merry-go-round 2 times which was really fun because they had all these horses that I looked at.  I found one to ride on, yehaw! I was having a very very good time because I was riding on my horse buckaroo. There I felt like I am a wild woman.  Then I went home and at home, I saw the beginning of this funny movie called The Croods. It’s so funny. It made me feel so humorous.  Then I went to the JCC to see the Little Mermaid. I didn’t get scared. So good for me!  Before the show began, Flounder, came out and welcomed us to the show, and how he really wanted to thank people. He also said get a lightstick during the break at the lobby to help Eric kiss Ariel in kiss the girl. Also, I saw my friend Emily, who sat next to me in row C13.  Plus, after the show I met Ariel, some of her sisters, Prince Eric, and Ursula and took pictures.  I loved the show so much even prince Eric, and Ariel. It made me feel happy, not shy, but perhaps brave.

My favorite part of the weekend was seeing the  musical the Little Mermaid, because it was so fun. My least favorite part was nothing because my weekend was so sweet and not terrible not booboo…but it was busy and best of all, fun! Overall, I think my weekend was so fun and happy too. Next weekend I will go bowling with the friendship circle. I also want to play bowling on Wii, or see more of The Croods movie. I want to do one of these things because one, it is on my things I want to do and 2 because it will be a fantastic and fabulous weekend.

Week of November 23, 2013 (Thanksgiving break)

Weekend Journal

My long long weekend was so fun. Some the things I did were see Tessa, go to Legoland, see friends, go to the zoo, go to the museum, had Thanksgiving, Chanukah, and read a book.

On Monday, I had the breath test [to check digestion]. It took forever and ever. In fact, it took way too long. Luckily, I did well. After that I went to boomers and played Deal or No Deal with Arlie. It was wonderful! Then, I saw Carla [neurologist], who checked me.

On Tuesday I saw Tessa. After that, I went to the zoo. OMG, it was so fun because I saw Camp Critter. There was a California sea lion, I like this part when the camp director says, “hey campers coming to the camp arena is …and this isn’t it, this is a dog… Welcome Achea the jaguar!” We moved on to the Children’s Zoo and there was another jaguar that was having a little walk. (I thought to myself “aww how cute!”)

Wednesday, I went to LEGOLAND and I went on the safari trek when you go in a car around a jungle to see animals like apes, flamingoes, even an elephant called Elpsy. Also I saw the view of the next area I like to call it the water works area. I also went into the Sea life aquarium. Usually there is a keeper show and kids can take a quiz but there wasn’t one that day. I wonder why? Huh. Anyways, that was Wed. oh I forgot Chanukah started that night.

On Thanksgiving Thursday, I was so nervous because at 7:30 am I told my nurse I was nervous. I told her because of the parade. So I didn’t see it. Instead while I exercised I saw my Leonard Bernstein movie on Young performers playing the “Carnival of the Animals”. (Like a zoo) I thought, you know what that orchestra is so talented. After that, I played my piano and drums. Then I played Wii fit. I got 3 first places 2 of them were hard to beat because it was the same score in 2nd and 3rd. Then at 2:15 Arlie came and I had a bath, and got ready for my company. Who came you ask? Well let me tell you: Mathew, Anne Marie, grandma, uncle Robert ,Macy the dog, Otis the dog, and Cooper the dog, my dad’s friend from swimming Kim, his daughter Kendra who is 12 years old and her dad. Oh and Arlie, me and my dad. That’s all. Those people came over to my house. All of the food my family had was , green bean dish, stuffing, turkey, pumpkin pie, salad, plus a cake. It was fun. Lastly, we had Chanukah and I got a shirt.

On Black Friday, I went to the Natural History Museum but when we got there, it started to rain so I stayed in the car for a little while. Once it was done we went inside and we saw a movie about the study of different dinosaurs that paleontologists found as fossils. I liked how in one part the people were digging deep and the mud seemed to come to your eyes. The movie which was called Dinosaurs Alive was a little boring but I liked it! Then I ate lunch ,and I walked up the stairs from the 2nd floor all the way to the 4th floor, and there was pretty neat stuff like pictures of deer. I also had Chanukah.

Saturday morning I woke up, exercised, hung out, and at 11 I finished my thank you emails from my birthday. Then Elianna came and we played piano, talked and played the Dradyel game. Lastly, I went to Jaydon’s house on Duck Pond Road. We again did piano, and games like Uno which I won, blow out. And I saw Jaydon’s dogs, Brandy and Cody. Then I read a book called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Lastly, I did Chanukah.

Sunday, Michelle came and guess what we did you won’t believe it but…we went to again the Natural History Museum. Not again!!!! Yeah and it didn’t rain. We saw a cart filled of different rocks and fossil bones. Then we saw again the same movie I saw on Friday, Dinosaurs Alive 3d remember? I saw Mrs. Frizzle, rode carousel and went to the photo art place. When we got home we finished my book and did Chanukah.

My favorite part of the weekend was the museum, Chanukah, Legoland, and the zoo because it was all fun. My least favorite part was the merry-go-round because the 2nd time I didn’t want to get off. Also I didn’t like the parade because I didn’t get a chance to see it. Overall, my break was awesome dude because I had the most lovely break ever in my whole life. Next break, I want to either go to Seaworld or the safari park. I want to do one of these things because I think it will be a great winter break.Image
